Event Details

  • Discounted spay and neuter services for 180 dogs of low income families
  • 2-day event: September 20th and 21st
  • Location: Othello Fairgrounds Community Building
  • MASH clinic (Mobile Animal Sterilization Hospital)
  • Dogs only – NO CATS
  • 50:50 males, females

Reservation Breakdown

  • 50% reservations from Columbia Basin Project
  • 25% reservation from any area outside CB Project
  • 25% first come first served

Requirements

  • Must meet WA HUD low-income limits to qualify
  • Dog age: 4 months to 8 years
  • Dog size: anything over 4 pounds
  • No brachycephalic breeds (frenchies, pugs, Boston terriers, bulldogs, shin tzus, Pekingese)
  • NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS

Note: If you register, pay and your pet is found to NOT meet these requirements, you will be denied entry WITHOUT a refund

What’s Included

  • Spay or neuter surgery by licensed veterinarian or veterinary student
  • Rabies and DHPP vaccine
  • Microchip

How to Register

  • Limited first come first serve spots available, reservations recommended
  • 50:50 male:female ratio
  • ALL REGISTRATIONS and SCHEDULING on August 24th ONLY
  • Application goes LIVE on Facebook August 24th @ 9:00a
  • Apply early for best chances
After approval:
  1. Receive email with instructions
  2. Follow link to pay the $55 copay
  3. Call ACPR 509-488-5514 to schedule

Important: DO NOT PAY COPAY UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED INSTRUCTIONS TO DO SO. NO REFUNDS IF PAID BEFORE APPROVAL

What to Expect on Event Day

If You Have a Reservation

  • Arrive at your given drop-off time
  • Plan for 10-15 minutes of paperwork
  • Your pet will be weighed and placed in a crate until surgery
  • Pick-up times vary, plan for 4+ hours
  • Remain within 30 minutes of the location

If You DO NOT Have a Reservation

  • Do not arrive earlier than 7 am
  • Registration opens at 9 am
  • First come, first served
  • Remain in your vehicle and line up at marked cone
  • Follow the same process as reserved slots
